The Family Open House scheduled for Thursday, May 1 has been canceled. There is a separate Professional Open House scheduled for Friday, May 2nd, 2 – 4 pm for local Professionals.
On Saturday, April 26th, 2014 the Koinonia Academy Concert Choir sang at the closing Mass for the Archdiocese of Newark’s Women’s Day of Reflection titled “Be Not Afraid, Rejoice in God’s Mercy”. The Mass was offered by Presiding Co-Adjutor Archbishop Bernard Hebda of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.
Cub Scout Pack 3, sponsored by Koinonia Academy, Plainfield, participated in the 12th annual “Cache In Trash Out” weekend on Saturday, April 26th at Cedar Brook Park in Plainfield. After an all-night rain, the group of 25 Scouts, siblings and parents spent an hour-and-a-half collecting trash around the lake and tennis courts and bringing it to the road to be picked up by Union County. Koinonia has been the sponsoring organization for Cub Scout Pack 3 for 28 years.
