Current Parents - Registration Process Overview

Registration is now open for the 2023-2024 school year! 
There are three steps you must take to complete the Registration Process. Online portions of the registration process will be done through the FACTS Portals - the Family Portal and the Payment Portal. 

1. Sign & Return Tuition Contract - one of your children should have brought home a paper tuition contract. Review, select your payment plan, sign, and return the contract to the school office.
2. Pay Registration & Downpayment Fee - Pay the "Incidental Bill" in the FACTS "Payment Plan/Financial Aid" portal.
3. Complete the Re-Enrollment Forms - In the FACTS "Family Portal", complete all the forms for each of your children.

Registration is a required process for all returning students. Your children will not be fully registered unless ALL THREE of the above steps are complete. Keep reading below for complete details on dates, deadlines and fees.

Registration & Fees Details

• Registration Fees & Deadlines
  • Returning Families:
    • 3/15/23: Tuition contracts released, registration begins, $150 registration fee plus $300 tuition down-payment ($450 total due at registration)
    • After 4/19/23: $250 registration fee plus $300 tuition down-payment ($550 total due at registration)
    • After 5/15/23: $300 registration fee plus $300 tuition down-payment ($600 total due at registration)
  • New families:
    • $300 registration fee plus $300 tuition down payment ($600 total due at registration)
• Payment Process: All payments will be through FACTS this year, including Sports fees
  • Separate FACTS payments fee, depending on payment plan
  • No charges will be added without advanced notice and opt out
• Financial Aid:
  • All financial aid recipients must be VERIFIED for the Inner-City Scholarship Fund by 4/25 (requires fee)
  • All financial aid applicants must be VERIFIED using FACTS by 5/1 (requires fee)
  • Financial aid will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis

*Additional discount of $300 per family for KA Alumni
**People of Hope members receive a 5% K-12 tuition discount

PreK-12 Fees

• Lunch Duty fee is $100 per PreK-12 family.
• Student Books & Activity fee is $150 per PreK-8 student.
• Student Books & Activity fee is $200 per high school student.
• High School Choir fee is $500 per high school student.

Service Hours, Grocery Cards

To help us keep our tuition rates low, each year we require parents of students in K-12^th grade to support the school by:

1. Working 40 service hours, and
2. Purchasing $3,500 of grocery gift cards (Shop-Rite, A&P, etc.) as a fundraiser. 

Families that can not assist in any or all of these ways must pay the additional fee(s) as outlined below.  This fee is added to the family’s total tuition at the beginning of the year, or added at the end, if necessary.  (Families that have students only in Pre-K are not required to provide service hours or purchase grocery cards.)

Registration Fee, Payment Plans & Discounts
(Pre-K – 12) 2023-2024

Registration Fee (Pre-K – 12): 
A registration fee is due at the time of registration, as follows, for returning families:

For new families, the registration fee is $300, due at the time of registration.

Down Payment: A $300 down-payment is due at the time of registration.

Tuition Payment Plans

1. 12 month – Total tuition may be paid over a period of 12 months (July-June), through the FACTS Tuition Management.
2. Semi-annual – All tuition paid in full semi-annually (½ by July 5 and ½ by Jan 5) will receive a 2% discount on the total annual tuition, excluding fees.
3. Annual – All tuition paid in full by July 1 of the school year will receive a 3% discount on the total annual tuition, excluding fees.

Alumni Discount

A $300 discount per family will be applied to your annual tuition if you are an alumni of Koinonia Academy. 

People of Hope Discount

A 5% discount on K-12 tuition will be applied for members of the People of Hope.
